We Finally Won One

In a must-win game, the Skins clobbered the Texans 31-15. Al Saunders' offense finally clicked and the defense finally held its ground without Shawn Springs, though we must remind ourselves that the Texans are a really bad team.

But, on a high note, Brunell quieted his critics by breaking an NFL record for consecutive passes, with 22 of them. His first incomplete pass came with 23 seconds left in the third quarter.

Go Brunell and Hail to the Redskins.

PS Somebody definitely does have to get me the team song on CD as some of us (Mary) are shy about singing without accompaniment

So glad Gibbs didn't give in to fan pressure and pull Brunell from the starting lineup.

And what a gentleman to give credit to his record breaking performance to the offensive line.

Look out Jacksonville.

Finally a god for blessed win, and quite honestly i wouldnt have cared if it would have come against the school for the deaf and blind, we just needed a W in the worst way. Kudos to the coaching staff for realizing what Brunell can and cant do and actually using those high priced WRs we got this winter.
